Furthermore, in the church there are designated church seats of the Schnitger family and the grave in which Arp Schnitger was buried on the 28th of July in 1719. In contrast to his usual habit, Arp Schnitger did not utilize any materials from an existing organ there, but built a completely new instrument. From 2015 to 2017, the organ was restored by the workshop of Kristian Wegscheider (Dresden).
